Shopping Cart Solutions

There are many (many!) shopping cart solutions available today. We’ve researched a fair number of these and have found a fairly inexpensive (as shopping carts go) ecommerce solution that is also easy to use. We’ll set up for you and show you how it works. You’ll have total control to make timely updates to your online store. Then it’s up to you to keep up with the orders you’ll receive as a result.

A one-time charge of $500 is for set-up and customization. There is also a nominal one-time application fee.

Domain name registration is included with the creation of your new website and is free for the first year. Some companies will charge as much as $35 per year for a domain name. Our cost is only $15/year.

Website Hosting

As with domain names, you can find a myriad of price ranges for website hosting. (Hosting is basically “renting” space on a web server for your website files so they can be accessed by the world wide web.) We’ve used a popular hosting company for years with reasonable pricing and great dependability, costing you only $10/month, with pre-pay price breaks for 6 months and 12 months.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

We believe that certain best practices should be applied to any website. For each website that we develop, we do the following:

keyword research and selection
competitor research
keyword inclusion in page content
back-end coding of all title, header, alt, and meta tags
manual submission to top search engines and directories
inclusion of XML sitemap and search engine directives
regular assessment of web statistics

Keep in mind other activities that improve SEO:

Adding content to the website regularly
Increasing the number and quality of links referring to your website from other websites

Site or Account Analytics

Each website we create includes site statistics provided by Google Analytics.
